Vision

"Our vision is to improve maternal health outcomes for Black moms and birthing people through a well-equipped, supported, compassionate, and sustainable perinatal health workforce of community-centered doulas."

Mission

As a non-profit 501(c)(3) we know Maternal Outcomes Matter. Our mission is to celebrate Black motherhood and influence favorable outcomes in Black Maternal Health by promoting a community-empowered model of care through our Mombassadors. By providing gifts, edutainment programming, and events, and simplifying access to necessary and trusted resources like birth workers, mental health professionals, business strategists, and more, we're creating an ecosystem for Black moms as they navigate this journey.

Our platform is for Black moms in three key maternal stages, pregnancy, postpartum and compassion (loss of a child or significant loved one) and the communities who love them. By enlisting Mombassadors we are cultivating a community. Including these fathers, children, cousins, grandparents, dadvocates and more, we're making a positive impact in the life of our moms.

We are addressing Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and working to reduce the race-related disparities in Black Maternal Health caused by professional neglect and systemic racism. Together we can achieve intergenerational healing from racialized trauma.
