Mission

As a non-profit 501(c)(3), we know Maternal Outcomes Matter. Our mission is to celebrate motherhood and influence favorable outcomes in Black Maternal Health by promoting a community-empowered model of care through our Mombassadors. By providing tangible resources like mom and newborn essentials, workshops on childbirth education, and simplifying access to necessary and trusted resources like doulas, mental health professionals, and more, we're creating an ecosystem for Black moms as they navigate this journey.

 

Our platform serves moms in three key maternal stages: pregnancy, postpartum, and compassion (loss of a child or significant loved one) and the communities who love them. By enlisting Mombassadors, we cultivate a community. Including fathers, grandparents, community partners, and more; we're making a positive impact together.

 

We are partnering with incredible organizations to address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) for families and working to build a powerful and sustainable doula workforce to serve and support. Together, we can influence positive outcomes and promote intergenerational community healing.
