Become a Doula

Becoming a doula is a beautiful way to support the mamas/birthing people (and dads/partners) during the maternal health journey. Doulas provide emotional, physical and informational support and with the disparities impacting our Black moms and babies our Coco Moms need us!

BECOME A MOMBASSADOR

Being a "Mombassador" is about serving Black & Brown Moms as they navigate various maternal stages.

 

Contact us to join or launch a Mombasssador movement in your area. We need your talents in  advocacy, creativity, engagement & more!

COCO KIDS

The children are our future. To support this intergenerational community we've created programs and opportunities where kids can connect, share experiences and grow! Also, learn more about our CHAMP youth empowerment workshop here.

COCO DADS

We must talk Paternal Health when speaking in terms of Maternal Health. It is important that the father (father figures) in the lives of these Coco moms/babies/community are included and engaged in this experience. From Dad groups, events, programming, Doulos and more, we are all about our creating this space! Contact us to find out more about the support and services available.

Mental Health Support

We are able to offer support to moms and dads suffering from Anxiety and/or depression in pregnancy. Birth trauma. Postpartum depression and/or anxiety. Postpartum mood swings. Feeling overwhelmed. Grief and loss related to miscarriage. Infertility. Postpartum isolation and lack of support. Maternal adjustment issues. Conflict with partners. Sleep issues. Scary and intrusive thoughts related to your baby, even struggles with attachment.

BIRTH WORKERS UNITE

Wellness for the Work is critical! Calling all birth workers, doulas, midwives, mental health & medical professionals, lactation specialist & consultants, ALL who occupy this space! We are building a Coco Collective network of birth workers to engage, educate, entertain and support each other as we support our Coco Moms & their families. To operate at your best, we need to uplift each other. Join Us!

We've developed group support resources that connect regularly to discuss Wins & Woes related to parenting. We have groups for Moms, Dads and Co-ed experiences so we group together. Email us for more info & check out our events under the "Connect" tab to register for upcoming sessions.
