About the event
Join us this Tuesday, February 28th for our COC storytelling Workshop! Effective storytelling is a key skill for successful organizing. In this workshop, you'll reflect on experiences and moments that have called you to take political action on behalf of racial justice. We will be discussing and sharing our stories on prison profiteering and how it affects us.Storytelling is deeply ingrained in the history of Black Americans and we believe everyone has a powerful story to share! This workshop will focus on experiences and moments that connect us to the root of the problem and ways we can take action, then we will learn how to turn those stories into videos that inspire people to support our campaign and encourage the administration to make all hygiene products free and stop profiteering off prisoners! Our aim is to provide you with the tools to better organize and move YOUR community to action using the practice of telling stories and powerful narratives. We believe this workshop will support your leadership development and create enhanced pathways of organizing and engagement with Color Of Change. We hope to see you there
